Delta Foundation, Inc., established in 1996, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located at the Delta Cultural Center in Lanham, MD. Our mission is to transform lives and impact communities in Prince George's County through strategic alliances, philanthropy, and stakeholder engagement. We give and help partner organizations give back to the community through scholarships, grants, donations and efforts to promote solutions to community-based issues that impact youth, women and the elderly.
Our Board of Directors is composed of volunteers, who contribute their professional expertise, time, and commitment to serving the mission of Delta Foundation, Inc. Directors serve a three-year term and can be elected to complete another three-year term. Other commitments include participation in regular and special Board meetings and the Annual Board meeting; working on a committee; and contributing an annual fee (tax-deductible) to support Board operations.
We are particularly interested in enriching our Board of Directors with diverse individuals with a giving spirit and passion for driving our mission by: maturing our financial oversight and board governance, preserving the Delta Cultural Center, cultivating winning partnerships and elevating our fundraising and philanthropic footprints.
