The Foundation understands the nurturing role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's).  In partnership with the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter (PGCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Foundation supports a week-long tour of HBCU's for high school students in grades 10, 11, and 12 in November, and a one-day tour for middle school students in March.

This long-standing scholarship benefit is held annually in March. It supports students who are college-bound high school graduates and college-enrolled in both two and four-year colleges, as well as those who are interested in vocational/technical advancement.

The Foundation co-sponsors the biennial Cotillion with PGCAC. This effort occurs in May and represents competitive pageantry scholarship fundraising and community-outreach efforts. Preteen and teen-aged girls focus on positive image building, cultural enrichment and academic excellence.
